Spectra Star from Unity Scientific is real news for analysis of dairy products.

The petridish / Sampleholder with the sample is placed diredtly on top of the instrument. You don't need to care about the sample surface as the sample is analysed from below, where gravity takes care of the surface.

The sample is rotated so the the entire surface is analysed.


The instrument is very flexible. You can easily change the set up to allow for large sample holders - we can offer up to 13 cm across - which means that you can analyse inhomogenious samples like Yogurth with pirces of fruit.

The CPU is build into the instrument, and a mounted touch screen makes it very easy to handle. Also changing sample types. Results can be exported to LAN or excel spread sheets.

 

From the outside the LactoScope FTIR Advanced looks like the FT 120


Well, it's red and the pipette is on the left side, but still you may believe it were a copy.

First of all it has a much more rugged interferometer, which makes any kind of "FTIR-Equalizer" obsolete..


Secondly, comodity chemicals are used for 0-Setting and cleaning - this means that you avoid monopoly prices and can expect to pay only about a third of what you pay today. And as mentioned above you eed no "FTIR-Equalizer" either!…


Thirdly, has LactoScope FTIR Advanced proven in tests that it handles highly viscous samples much better and with a higher accuracy.


Apart from that, all calibrations are free of charge (apart from FPD), and the software is simple, intuitiv and based on touch screen, which makes it seemless to move from a FT120 to a Lactoscope FTIR Advanced.
